D’arcy Darilmaz is a visual artist based in Leeds.

 

D’arcy’s practice encompasses a range of media, including moving-image, mixed-media installation and sculpture, drawing, and painting. She frequently uses a playful, tongue-in-cheek approach to explore diverse narratives, and often at the heart of D’arcy’s practice is a curiosity about people - their connections with one another and the surrounding world. Themes such as journeying and pilgrimage, memorialisation, ‘sacred’ spaces and digital navigation have featured in her work.
